Celestial Cosmetics Love Never Dies Collection + August LE 2016 Gladiolus

Hello lovelies! Now that the 31 Day Challenge is finally over I am getting back to posting reviews that I have gotten behind on. Today I have Celestial CosmeticsLove Never Dies Collection and the August Limited Edition shade to share with you. This six piece collection is inspired by the movie Bram Stroker's Dracula and the costumes of its different characters. Let's take a look..

Formula and application:
Celestial Cosmetics polishes are all 5-free (meaning no Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor). Each polish is slightly different from the next so I'll be describing them one by one. All of the formulas were good and I didn't have any issues with application.

Bottle and brush:
The bottles contain 12ml. The brushes are flat with a medium width, a shape I really prefer. The length is medium sized and flexes well for application.

The Blood is the Life is a duochrome that shifts from a dark red to burnt orange in certain lights. The shift may be subtle but it's SO pretty when it happens. This was two coats, no top coat.

The Devil's Concubine is a reddish orange linear holo polish. This is a really nicely pigmented shade and great for this time of year. This is two coats, no top coat.

Mina is a light minty green based holo polish, with white sparks. A nice fresh shade, perfect for Spring. This is two coats, no top coat.

The Brides is a darker goldish colored polish with green gold shifting flakes and a green shimmer. This shade of gold never flatters my skin tone, but the flakies are quite beautiful. This is two coats, no top coat.

Oceans of Time is a darker denim blue based polish with silver shimmer and silver flakes. I don't have an example here, but it looks great matte (as I did in this Embroidered Denim mani here). So in love with this shade! This is two coats, plus top coat.

God's Madmen is a metallic gray polish with gold flakes and gold holo microglitter. This is two coats, no top coat.

August 2016 Limited Edition

August LE 2016 (Gladiolus) is a coral leaning orange holo with white sparks, gold flakes, gold holo and iridescent microglitter. The gold details is really what makes this one shine for me. This is two coats, no top coat.

Each shade retails for $12 AUD and is available now on the Celestial Cosmetics Australian website. They are also available for $9.90 USD each on their international website.
